You Can't Take Sundays Off If You Work for a Think Tank

Not long ago, someone asked me if I wanted to receive phone calls on Sunday or if I ever worked on Sunday. You see, for the most part this is a Christian Nation so Sunday is, well you know, the day of rest. Perhaps, this is why they say there is no rest for the wicked. They don't take Sundays off you see? Who knows maybe there is something more to that old quote and it means something entirely different. Okay so, let's talk about why I don't take days off, or see Sunday as anything special or deserving.
First, although I probably deserve a day off, I have never taken one. Further, since I run a think tank, last time I checked, humans didn't take a day off when they go out and cause problems in the world. All sorts of terrible things happen on Sundays just like any other day. There are car accidents, disasters, and all sorts of other things. Perhaps and although I don't know this, there may be even more because people are not paying attention, they are busy relaxing, and they have their guard down. Trust me when I tell you disaster can strike at any time, if you want to win the Darwin award, you can do it on any Sunday.
Next, for the most part a good many humans don't work all that hard anyway during the week anyway. They get by, they punch in their time card, go through the paces, and text message their friends through half of the workday. It is interesting that the same people demand a free day, or a free weekend without being bothered about anything having to do with earning a living, or putting in the hard work ethic that they promised when they got the job. That's unfortunate because there are many people who are out of work who would gladly put in the extra time, or work harder during the week for such a paycheck.
Okay so, recently someone asked to join our think tank, and I asked them how much time they could spend. They said that they could never work on the weekends, especially never on Sunday. They claimed that this was due to their religion, but they'd be happy to help us the rest of the week specifically they wanted to help us design weapon systems which is only one branch of our think tank. I thought that was rather interesting considering their claims to all of their moral virtues. Please consider all this and think on it.
